Hurricane Irene – Marine Specialties represented the city in negotiations with insurer regarding damage sustained during Hurricane Irene in 1999 and assisted the city in obtaining a settlement four times greater than the initial insurance company’s offer.

Hurricane Jeanne – Marine Specialties assessed damages, provided cost valuations of repairs, and oversaw the demolition and repairs of city’s marina facility on Lake Okeechobee in Florida, following Hurricane Jeanne in 2004. The claim value exceeded $2.2 million and included components of the floating and fixed dock marina, boat ramp, fuel dock, seawall, jetty and public fishing pier.
